We will wait, and would prefer to wait despite some peoples impatience. Without you @ShiningRockSoftware we wouldn't be on this forum begging you. So take your much deserved break, and have a beer on me, I'll even send you the money for one. (Just one I'm cheap.)
May I ask though, just to wet the tip of the whistle for us, could you release one model for us to view, pull apart and reshape to get our models ready for the modkit.
This is a very cheeky post, but I'm excited and so is everyone else.
People just keep creating threads demanding the modkit, and for 1 developer it can get very stressful. So hopefully people will see this thread and just pop it in.
If it's anything like I have used myself for my own projects it will require more than just posting it. It will probably require some kind of changes for safeguards and the like.
I agree whole heartedly, after three years of working on this wonderful game a small break should be in order. Personally I'm very impressed that Luke was able to keep at it steady without burning himself out.
A token to "wet the whistle" as @TomMartow suggests would probably go a little ways to help calm down the clamoring crowd.
